Three years have passed since the fight he had with Errol Spence and he is still talking about it as Spence returns tonight against Tim Tszyu.
The two American former welterweight world champions fought over three years ago and Crawford TKO’d Spence.
Speaking ahead of the Spence vs Tszyu fight tonight, Crawford brought up something before the Spence fight over three years ago now.
Spence mentioned he did not have great sparring or a training camp for the fight but Crawford said on this:
“I just was like, hey, it is what it is. That fight was in 2023 — why bring it up now? He fought the same way he fights in every fight. If I knew I wasn’t at my best or something was hindering me in camp, especially at this level, I wouldn’t have fought. I can’t grasp going into a fight of that magnitude unprepared.”
Bud Crawford said he will not be giving a rematch to Spence and is staying retired as of now.
