Tim Bradley is talking sense to Devin Haney

Tim Bradley is talking sense to Devin Haney

Devin Haney might be one of the most in demand boxers in America and worldwide right now for major fights in the entire sport.

As boxing takes off, you can see many of the old promoters, belt companies and some others struggle a bit with new partnerships that prove they are sinking fast.

That is not the case for the sport of boxing and you can tell some great matchups in America have been, and will continue to be, a part of that.

Devin Haney is a US welterweight star and remains one of the biggest names in American boxing. At least for now.

Coming off his recent win over Brian Norman Jr on points this year, Tim Bradley from the US believes Haney should not be going for the Gervonta Davis fight.

Instead he is pushing him to take a rematch with US boxing star and rival Ryan Garcia.

Bradley is absolutely spot on with this in many ways.

Gervonta Tank Davis of Baltimore has not been anywhere to be found in a boxing ring since last year at this point.

When he struggled in a draw with US rival Lamont Roach in an entertaining bout but one most thought Roach won in.

Davis has been erratic away from boxing as well in and out of major cases in court and so on and he has not been himself.

He continues to appear every now and then on social media but often has strange handles and profile photos for his social media accounts.

He then proceeds to delete them and disappear.

He has been promising a comeback this year but nothing has come of it. Tank is not reliable and best Haney forgets him.

And at least tries to pursue the Ryan Garcia rematch. A huge fight in America and worldwide in boxing.

It looks like as well Shakur Stevenson is a bit scared to fight Devin Haney so why should Haney wait around when he has options.

That Ryan Garcia rematch with Devin Haney is a huge fight to make right now and both come into it in great form as well.

Garcia off the back of a points win over Mario Barrios last time out in the ring.

Haney off the back of a points win over Brian Norman Jr.

Both are at welterweight now and are stronger at 147 pounds and the rematch will be more explosive than ever.

Especially with all the bad blood over the years between the two.

Make the fight.

Or at least try to.
