Despite some talk of the Mayweather PPV Greece exhibition being on pay per view, it is not from what we know.
They two athletes had their first press conference a short time ago in Greece.
It is a boxing exhibition between a 49-year-old Floyd Mayweather and a 45-year-old kick boxing champion — competing against Mayweather in a boxing exhibition.
Floyd Mayweather Zambidis
Here’s what we know at this point:
- Fight: June 27, 2026, OAKA Olympic Complex, Athens, Greece
- Broadcast: Posters say “LIVE | WORLDWIDE BROADCAST” via “international broadcasting platforms and digital media”
- PPV: Not confirmed — no price, platform, or TV network announced yet
- Tickets: Live sales through Ticketmaster, details TBA
- Status: Still on, but Mayweather’s travel is in doubt due to reported IRS/passport issues
It is surely a hard sell as a pay per view from Mayweather so it is important to pour cold water over the PPV talk by some online already.
We don’t think it will be a pay per view at all.
Await official confirmation soon from Mayweather and or the other team.
