Floyd Mayweather: Of Course I’m Crazy

Floyd Mayweather: Of Course I'm Crazy

Floyd Mayweather came across as very unsettled and nervous in his press conference in Greece a short time ago.

He was giving his usual boring canned lawyer statement type responses but there was something else going on with him.

He was on edge. He is facing a lot away from boxing right now. You could tell. He couldn’t hide it.

Speaking on his upcoming opponent in Greece in his boxing exhibtion he said:

“Well, I’m pretty sure — from what I’ve heard, I can’t say it’s true — that he’s a little wild and can get a little crazy. But that’s part of the sport. My job is to go out there and do what I do best. The referee’s job is to keep the bout and the action under.. And of course I’m crazy. Thank you.”

That last part there from him came across as strange.

We’ve never heard him say he’s crazy before.

Whether he was joking or serious doesn’t matter. It is intriguing to see him at the moment amid these May Pac 2 talks.

You can learn a lot from his body language in how he is feeling more pressure away from boxing than ever before now.

Here’s where the mind of Floyd Mayweather could be at the moment amid what he is dealing with currently:

  • IRS passport revocation threat over $7.25M+ in tax liens and levies.
  • June 27 Athens exhibition vs Mike Zambidis in jeopardy if he can’t travel.
  • Tyson exhibition collapsed after promoter missed April 30 and May 30 deadlines.
  • Pacquiao rematch dispute with claims of breach of contract and an advance already taken.
  • Sphere venue lost for Pacquiao 2 due to Eagles concerts booking.
  • $100M lawsuit dropped against Business Insider “with prejudice.”
  • Active debt lawsuits for $105K private jet bill and $330K+ unpaid NYC rent.
  • Reported asset sales of Gulfstream jet “Air Mayweather” and Beverly Hills/Miami mansions.
  • $340M+ Showtime lawsuit over alleged fraud; Paramount calls it baseless.
  • Public real estate claim disputed after NYC records showed his 62-building deal didn’t close.

If the IRS take Mayweather’s passport soon, which they could well do, this Mayweather fight in Greece won’t happen as Mayweather won’t be able to travel.

Let’s see what happens with him.
