Mayweather Speaks On Next Opponent Mike Zambidis

Mike Zambidis

Learn more about Mike Zambidis and what Mayweather said about him ahead of their boxing exhibition in Greece.

The Floyd Mayweather exhibitions continues and he’s in Greece all of a sudden this summer.

Mayweather gave his usual boring canned lawyer statement type responses. Sometimes you get genuine, proper responses from him but it is rare.

On Mike Zambidis Mayweather said of him:

“That’s why this is so exciting. Throughout my career, I was able to go on any turf and display my skills. That’s the attitude we want. We want him to believe in himself and his skills. We want him to say that Floyd is a lot older, so we’re not going to see the same Floyd Mayweather. That’s what makes this sport so exciting. Congratulations to my opponent and his team. We want him to have that attitude, and we want him to bring the smoke.”

Mike Zambidis isn’t a boxer and is a kickboxer — the fight happens as a boxing exhibition.

He’s also only 5 feet 5 inches tall, three inches shorter than Mayweather (5 feet 8 inches tall).
