Too fast and too good for him.

  • Round 6: Ramirez dropped, couldn’t beat count, pawing at eye.
  • Stoppage 2:59 round 6.
  • Benavidez landed 151/327, most on Zurdo ever.

Benavidez did land a lot but important to realize that those numbers show as well he missed a lot of punches.

Many of his punches were very wide and sloppy and better fighters they would not have landed.

He did well you can’t knock him it was a good win but he’d tell ya himself that he missed a lot.

Ramirez was crazy slow but more than usual even, maybe he wasn’t 100 per cent in there and he just isn’t say it yet.

It was the worst fight from Ramirez ever and nearly half of Benavidez’ punches missed but the ones that landed were damaging with the speed he brought up from light-heavyweight.

Talk now is about a possible Jai Opetaia or Dmitry Bivol fight next up.
