Al Haymon Health

The Al Haymon health topic has come up a lot in boxing in recent years but what happened Al?

For those new to boxing as fans in recent years they might not have even heard of him.

Al Haymon was originally the founder of Premier Boxing Champions but his relevance in boxing and his use in top flight boxing expired recently.

He hasn’t been around the sport in a long time by all accounts.

He started as a manager and advisor then started the PBC, the Premier Boxing Champions network in the US.

They show the David Benavidez vs Gilberto Ramirez fight this weekend but at a shocking $80 dollar price on pay per view which will bomb and do terrible.

Haymon is the original mastermind of this calamity and failure of course.

Just like when good old Al went to the UK and the good people of England helped good old Al fall flat on his face with his ITV deal.

He tried to get boxing back on ITV some years ago when TV was big but people in the UK had nothing to do with him.

Alas, the ITV deal never materialized.

He also blew hundreds of millions, maybe close to half a billion dollars of a fund giving away boxing for free on free television in the US at the start of PBC back in 2015.

In recent times no one has seen or heard anything of him and online many reports point to a declining health for old Al.

Here’s the facts on the Al Haymon health.
