Recently the Rolly Romero vs Devin Haney fight talks broke down and that fight is off.
Leaving Haney to speak with other possible opponents including his long term nemesis and rival Garcia.
Garcia has been highly linked with a fight with Conor Benn but the Haney rematch is obviously ten times bigger as a fight.
Shakur Stevenson poured cold water over talks with him and Devin Haney talking about fighting at the moment.
He said there are no talks on the X platform about him and Haney fighting — and Garcia said ‘I told you so’ to Stevenson.
In that he knew Haney would not fight him.
This is a great sign that there may in fact be talks between Garcia and Haney’s teams going on behind the scenes about a rematch.
