Muhammad Ali’s grandson is set to testify on the bill that has now passed into law now.

Nico Ali Walsh’s career has gone down hill lately and of course is nothing on his grandfather Muhammad Ali’s.

Tomorrow in Washington Ali Walsh has said he will testify, here’s what we know on his satements.

Nico Ali Walsh’s own statements:

  • I will be testifying before the U.S. Senate on Wednesday in Washington, DC.
  • As an Ali, I’m completely against altering the Muhammad Ali Act.
  • My grandfather fought for it to protect fighters from getting screwed over.
  • Remove the Ali Act and promoters take control while fighters get paid less.
  • Keep the act and protect the fighters who put their lives on the line.
  • The Revival Act is a bait-and-switch: they say they aren’t changing the Ali Act but adding to it is changing it.
  • It risks promoters controlling matchmaking, contracts, rankings, and titles — the start of a monopoly.
  • Fighters will eventually have no real choice.
  • The Ali Act Preservation Alliance exists to protect the best interests of the fighters.

So basically, in his own canned lawyer statement kind of way, he is saying he supports the bill.

Not that it mattered much anyway because it has already passed and will be updated shortly.

It just improves things a little bit for boxers.

Not a game changer but an improvement.

The hype train on Nico Ali Walsh ended a long time ago regarding him, who knows what will happen to him this year.
