The Floyd Mayweather trash talk ahead of Pacquiao rematch is a bit of a talking point.
The big super fight is this September live on Netflix and both will be taking tune up bouts before hand to get ready.
Mayweather on his side two exhibition bouts he says, one against heavyweight legend Mike Tyson no less next month in a super fight.
Pacman will be two years younger at 47 and Mayweather 49 but there hasn’t been many bad words between them at all ahead of the bout.
Nothing.
They have been very respectful but you get the impression that it will go out the window when they get in there and throw down some heavy accurate shots when they compete on fight night in September.
It is live on Netflix as well — the world’s biggest streaming platform.
They don’t need to trash talk to sell the fight and the numbers are off the charts already online for it from around the world — we’ve seen them and Netflix have seen the impressions and engagement on all platforms as well.
The world wants to know can they still compete at the highest level of welterweight even at their advanced ages.
Others want to know can Pacquiao put fight what he deemed in the first fight to be an injured shoulder in 2015.
The fight was won on points by Mayweather and many will think again he will do the same but Pacquiao is not your average man.
Far from it — he is more than supernatural and has proved it time and time again over the years in life and in prize fighting as well.
An unbreakable man and character and he doesn’t need to trash talk to sell fights.
Nor does Mayweather anymore.
Maybe that’s why there has not been any.
Mayweather in his younger days used to trash talk to sell fights but he comes across as in a great place and doesn’t need to anymore and his resume and huge following and brand sells the fights anyway.
