The Inoue motivation surge for Nakatani in May is almost palpable.
At this point his training footage shows as much as he gets into the best shape of his life for the toughest fight of his life.
Against his Japanese long term rival and one of the best world champions in boxing, Junto Nakatani.
The two have known one another for many years and both are multi-weight world champions in the sport on a collision course for many years now.
This may the world, Asia, Japan and boxing will get that fight at long last.
The concern for Inoue and even Nakatani however as well with all their motivation they have at the moment is too not leave it all in the gym at the moment.
Not to peak too soon.
At the end of the day their are many sparring and gym world champions but only counts on fight night in front of the bright lights itself.
They need to be intelligent enough not to over train for the fight in sparring at this point too early and of course they don’t need us or anyone else to tell them that.
It’s a massive boxing and sports and even a mass event for society in Japan in May.
No doubt about it.
But it is also further proof of boxing’s continued expansion into the Asian and Eastern hemisphere market with more proof of rapid, furious progress of the sport that cannot be stopped on a daily basis all the time.
They need to live up to the hype of the fight and the event they will too.
The caveat before with Inoue is that he has actually over trained a couple of times only maybe in his career previously and being a little flat and got caught with punches he shouldn’t have got caught with on fight night.
Stick to his boxing and his training but train smart and hard.
Same for Nakatani.
Maybe the best man win.
Ahead of the fight Inoue Monster vs Nakatani Ticket demand is off the hook.
