One of the great tools Mayweather used in the first fight was of course the jab.
In training he perfects the thing with pinpoint brilliance.
It can be used as a weapon or a range finder with it. When you see that he uses it as snappy as anyone does, it is difficult to decode it totally.
He shoots it upstairs, he shoots it downstairs to the body often as well.
A true sweet science merchant with it Mayweather but it is really one of his great tools he uses in there. Many pro boxers use it to set up attacks.
And yes, while Mayweather does do this with it, he uses it as well as a weapon in its own right as well.
It is that powerful and effective a weapon in there. The sheer force and speed of it is excellent but sometimes he can get a little lazy with it from time to time.
He needs to make sure that is not the case with Pacman in their rematch this September in a fight for the ages for the entire sport and industry.
The world’s biggest commercial streaming company and corporation Netflix, would not have bought it and put it on this September for the entire planet if not a huge event.
Not just for boxing but for professional sport as well.
