Fury is causing a stir.
A short time ago he made a post on Instagram that has gotten people talking on all websites and social media to do with boxing.
He posted a picture above of him and other UK heavyweights, former champions in Bruno, Joshua and Lewis, suggesting they are MBE’s and he is not.
He is quite right and the UK government must of course award him an MBE for services to boxing and the UK not only soon.
But the sheer huge investment and direct and indirect revenues internationally he single handedly has brought in and will do more so for the UK in the future overseas.
Fury is far more popular in America and the East then the above boxers and this is a huge coup for the UK and government at the moment.
Particularly as Fury links up with the world’s biggest streaming company Netflix shortly.
Here’s some of the reaction above:

Here are 10 very short points why Tyson Fury deserves an MBE for services to boxing and the UK (his global reach far outstrips Joshua’s):
- Unified heavyweight titles (first Brit in 100+ years).
- Longest-reigning recent WBC heavyweight champion.
- Massive Netflix series At Home with the Furys.
- Netflix documentary FURY boosting UK profile.
- Headlined huge Saudi Arabia events.
- Greater worldwide star power than Joshua.
- Open mental health advocacy inspiring millions.
- Donated entire fight purses to UK charities.
- Folk hero representing British resilience.
- Biggest international ambassador for UK boxing today.
Fury’s comeback fight shortly will be at Tottenham Hotspurs soccer stadium.
