Usyk vs Wilder Not Dead Yet

Usyk Vs Wilder

It turns out the fight surprisingly may still happen.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Deontay Wilder when it was announced recently was a strange one that not many expected.

Certainly even those in boxing were a little taken back by it.

Wilder faces Derek Chisora on April 4th next up but it turns out a fight with undisputed heavyweight champion Usyk can still happen.

Wilder has told Kugan Cassius of IFL TV however that the fight can definitely still happen and he believes Usyk is a man of his word.

He said he thinks it still will happen if Usyk wants to stick with his principles of how he wants to end his boxing career.

He further added that would happened was they were in the middle of talks with Usyk while they were also in talks with Chisora.

Adding the Chisora fight was meant to happen in December, then Febuary. Now April 4th.

Don’t rule out that Usyk fight in California so. That remains a big fight for Usyk and potential TKO and Zuffa for the US market as well if they sign Usyk.

If Wilder knocks out Chisora quickly in April of course he could fight again in June.

Even if Wilder knocked Chisora out mid rounds he could fight again in June in the US.

Wilder spoke about this week why the knockout is always the ultimate answer.
