Josh Kelly becomes champion of the world and wins the title as challenger a short time ago in boxing results after hitting the deck.
It was the first world title challenge for Kelly.
It was all him for the first eight rounds and had the Russian world champion down from a jab.
But then the champion came back to drop Kelly with a big left hook.
Kelly was just awarded the decision on the cards however.
He got the nod on the cards to win the IBF super welterweight title on January 31, 2026, in Newcastle.
