Terence Crawford Says He'S Still Getting Used To Retirement

Terence Crawford the pound for pound King of these times of boxing has retired now and has spoken about adjusting to it.

Crawford recently defeated Canelo Alvarez by UD on points to retired undefeated after beating an all-time great up at 168 pounds.

He decided to hang up the gloves.

He spoke on it here last night:

Maybe he will sit back and chill for a bit. That is not for everyone. Many need to work relentlessly everyday when they conquer one business, industry or country or whatever.

Crawford can do a load of things post boxing of course. And he already does behind the scenes anyway.

He’s always involved in advising fighters and in training camps and so on.

Here’s just some more ideas for him:

  • Expand his real estate investments (already owns dozens of properties in Nebraska).
  • Grow his B&B Gym into a chain or branded training academy for youth/boxers.
  • Scale his TBC merchandise line and start a boxing promotion company.
  • Take bigger endorsement deals and consulting roles for athletes/brands.
  • Lead efforts to create a boxers’ union for better rights and benefits

Crawford was born a winner and will die a winner in whatever he chooses to do.

That is something that will never change.

Last night Crawford was handed the 2025 Fighter of the Year award by none other than Oleksandr Usyk.
