Teofimo Lopez is fighting Shakur Stevenson tonight in what is the biggest night in boxing of his career so this is a bit strange.
When someone is nervous they start acting different.
Unless they have some sort of a spinal or central nervous system injury or something — that’s different — that’s a physical thing.
Otherwise it’s a mental thing.
So, you could say this is a bit strange from Teofimo Lopez mentally at the moment:
He does appear to be over excited for those awards a little bit there.
The Ring Magazine awards took place last night also on the eve of tonight’s Stevenson vs Lopez fight.
It is the big one tonight and the world will be tuning in for the bout.
Stevenson will be moving up in weight. Bidding to become a four-weight world champion.
Teofimo Lopez hasn’t had a knockout in years however.
Hopefully the judges are tuned in and on point tonight with the scorecards.
