It is the big one tonight in New York between Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez and things are getting heated between their teams.
While not officially on his team undefeated retired pound for pound King Terence Crawford is always in Stevenson training camps.
As a sparring partner, advisor and friend.
Lopez is trained by his father for a long time now and is a key part of his life and career obviously.
Crawford had some very heated things to say to him on the eve of the fight:
Difficult to hear what was said but Crawford looked very serious there.
It is very rare that the usually calm Terence Crawford would be that intense and serious with someone.
Certainly outside of the professional boxing ring as well.
There must be some real needle and genuine malice there behind the scenes between the two camps and teams going on.
That just makes for an even better fight for fans tonight.
