Teofimo Lopez has been imitating a bit in recent times but this is almost uncanny from one Oleksandr Usyk this.
Lopez stared Stevenson down and attempt to copy how Usyk did so in one of his fights with Tyson Fury.
Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery however and original by principal.
No amount of copying Usyk will help him here:
Stevenson is moving up and may the best man win but Lopez is taking Stevenson lightly.
As are many in the sport of boxing.
Big mistake.
Stevenson has healed from surgery now and is boxing well and in great form.
Lopez hasn’t had a knockout in years and Stevenson comes into this fight in great form with much motivation.
Some say this is New York vs New Jersey but most in New York and New Jersey are with Stevenson here in terms of the numbers we are seeing on digital.
Hopefully it has some action but expect lots of sweet science, technical boxing.
