Ireland’s Walsh got the job done at the end of the day and boxed well in the ten rounds.
He was caught with punches that he shouldn’t have been and Freddie Roach’s over emphasis on attacking sometimes neglects defense. Hall of Famer Freddie Roach is also very old to be training him but for now Walsh can use his experience as a trainer if he wants.
Surely Tom Loeffler his manager or others could get him a more physically able trainer than Roach if there is declines in Roach’s ability at this point to train top tier pro boxers due to his age and so forth.

Things will only get better as well.
If he can tighten up his defense and keep a better guard will still flowing with that free flowing southpaw big hitting counter punch style he will do well.
Not needing to change his style at all. Just a better defense. Knockouts are not everything and don’t happen in every fight.
Even Mike Tyson, Sonny Liston and so on had a few fights that they won on points.
