Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez is one of Mexico’s excellent best fighters of today’s times but outside of boxing fans and Mexicans, not many know about him still.
That is criminal in itself, that should not be the case.
He is an outstanding cruiserweight world champion in the sport no less and has been reigning for some time now.
He has shown a propensity to improve at times but can do better in this regard, Mexicans and Americans both enjoy his fights and he doesn’t appear to us to be scared of taking the big fights.
Gilberto Ramirez Needs That Big Fight In 2026
He is a big hitter with an all action style but still, he needs that really big fight this year which he deserves to get more known outside of boxing.
Against another champion or a big name coming up from 175 pounds even.
Ramirez can do big things this year if he gets those big fights.
Zurdo Ramirez has been in the spot light a bit recently but we need to see more from him — he deserves a big fight this year.
