Argentina always comes in for a lot of heat for various reasons around the world but the country is finally starting to do great only recently.

As in, really great.

Since the old evil Argentinian Pope Mario Bergoglio (aka Pope Francis good riddance enjoy the hell fire) was confirmed dead and before that when the new Argentina president took over, things have really turned around for Argentina in all ways.

The country’s economy the last year or so is rebounding hugely and is one of the great success stories in all of South America that of course the in decline West doesn’t not mention enough of, as the East continues to rise at the same time.

But when it comes to boxing Argentina has in fact produced some great boxers and champions over the years like Sergio Martinez and more.

But lately Marcos Maidana of Argentina was also seen back around the Latin and South American boxing circuit now as a professional boxing promoter on some shows in South, Latin and Central America (Mexico).

One of life’s unbreakable and ironclad, steadfast, fighting men is Maidana, when you think he is gone he’s actually been behind the scenes the old time bringing new things to life.

In the ring he was one of the most entertaining fighters surely from South America of the 21st century.

Who will ever forget some of those fights he have Floyd Mayweather as well. Unreal fights.

Floyd Mayweather would surely if you pressed him on it say that yeah Maidana definitely caught him a few times and had him under genuine, serious pressure on occasion in those fights.

A real bulldozer merchant Maidana.

Great to see him back around boxing lately and helping South America and his country a bit too with his associations with new and or existing promotions in the South American continent, he and his associates could definitely do events in Mexico too — there’s loads of new TV and new streaming companies that can help.

If you add up all the professional boxing shows going on in all countries and continents at the moment every week, it dwarfs the amount of MMA and UFC shows happening and hence the revenues and net gross economy impact on local economies that professional boxing creates is far greater than even the $20 billion valued UFC.

Hence why the UFC are getting properly into boxing promotion soon.

Maybe they can work with promoters and his associates in South America with the likes of Maidana and others.
