Terence Crawford is laying waste to the WBC at the moment after they stripped him of a world title belt following his most recent and greatest win.
Crawford is the undisputed pound for pound King of boxing and recently proved it again by staying undefeated, moving up two weights, then beating Mexican all-time great Canelo Alvarez on points in Vegas.
Terence Crawford Torches WBC For Stripping Of Belt
Apparently he didn’t pay the WBC enough sanctioning fees and a short time ago addressed them on the X platform saying:
“Let’s make things very clear… I never agreed to anything with @wbcmoro on anything, nor did my team. So stop the cap with that narrative. I’ve always been a man of my word.”
He added:
“It’s crazy that Chico Lopez had to deliver me my belt after the fight because @wbcmoro was to shameful to personally give it to me his self. But I should be thanking him for a bill. ok I’m done.”
If anything because of who he is, the WBC should be paying him some sort of fee for the fact he even had their belt, literally, for the King of boxing to even be associated with their or any other belt should come with fees to him.
Crawford remains the undisputed champion of 168 pounds and the pound for pound King of boxing and belts are irrelevant when it comes to him and the best fighters in the world are.
People know who the best boxers and champions in the world are and he, Usyk and Inoue, Bivol, Davis, Stevenson and so on — are them.
