The Three Worst Things Boxers Say After Losing A Fight

Boxers after they lose a fight can be highly wound up and charged just after a fight so some slack can be cut for them of course.

But over the years, many fans and maybe those in the boxing industry would say there is a few things that maybe boxers should try to think over before getting on the mic with an interviewer in the ring.

They have only just gotten out of a potential life and death situation, in professional boxing, so some consideration should be made but after that, try to watch the following in our view.

  • Blaming injury: If a boxer lost a fight fair and square the last thing fans want to hear is a boxer blame an injury in the fight even if there is a legit injury. Just get a scan at the hospital and review the extent of the injury first before disclosing it to the media. When you are explaining, you’re losing. Hold your silence on it until you know the extent of the injury.
  • Saying they won the fight when they clearly did not: A big one is from a fans’ perspective at least, when a boxer has lost say a clear decision on points by many rounds and they get up on the mic and say they won the fight when the scorecards and any knowledgeable fan would say there was not a hope they won the fight. It comes across as terrible after fights.
  • Faking their belief in God: It is very, very rate, but in some rare cases some professional boxers and even some bums who make it to world title level are one of the 0.4 or 0.5 per cent of society who are Satanists (e.g. oblivion merchants who follow Satan and get burned alive every day forever after they leave this Earth). When some of these bums get up on the mic and thank Jesus and thank God (the father of Jesus Christ) and they don’t mean it, and you know they don’t mean it (a tiny number of them are false prophets unfortunately), that stinks. Just get the mic out of the bum’s damn hand at that point and move him out of the arena.
