The Truth About “Bring Back The Old Days” Nostalgia In Boxing

Maybe every generation has that little bit of nostalgia in it of oh remember the good old days in this and that but sometimes that is just junk and utter garbage.

The reality and truth is industry’s and sports science often improve, not always, sometimes they go backwards a few decades like it did in boxing’s case, but then after some decades it goes back to been bigger and better than ever when some special human beings and fighters come along to drive them into greatness.

We live in an era of ultra competitive fights and the pound for pound list in boxing has never been as hard to make as it is now, maybe for over fifty years.

More professional boxing prospects and champions are coming out of every country around the world than ever before now.

The standard of boxing is through the roof in top flight professional boxing and the old days are coming back soon but in a different way — in the new days.

In the new age of boxing.

Where many streaming companies exist, fights happen internationally everywhere around the world now (not just in America) and the East sees more big fights than ever before soon (not just in Japan either).

The sport at its core is unchanged and is powered by the fighter and the fan ultimately.

Without either there is no professional boxing.

There is no making boxing great again.

Boxing has always been great — just some deadwood is being cut down out of it currently and new better things are being brought into it to return it to a mass consumption watched sport by the general consumer.

Internationally.

The belts situation does need to be sorted out better as time goes on as well.
