What Boxer To Bring To China To Get Half A Billion New Fans For Boxing

It’s the big one soon for boxing and that’s right, its China time. Maybe the most exciting thing boxing will ever see since the 21st century.

Upsetting the applecart, changing how things have been doing, and doing new exciting things are always exciting and fun and with the world’s second most powerful country of China being a ready made new market for boxing to stage big boxing events there, the fun will only just beginning.

For fighters and fans.

But the big question is, as boxing continues to expand into the East and with China by far being the number one big market for pro sports and for all industry in the East, who will be the star boxers events holders can bring there at first?

Some from the East and West, with some local China prospects on the card could be a good mix.

We think getting a heavyweight championship fight there involving Oleksandr Usyk would be more than appropriate.

You could bring a big Western US boxing star like Ryan Garcia there also.

Then a mix of unbeaten Chinese prospects from across the country of China to compete on the undercard.

You could do all this will bringing Western streaming companies like a DAZN or a Paramount there while allowing the Chinese to use their own streaming and tech companies to carry the event as well.

Imagine getting an event covered on the likes of Baidu or the associated Chinese platforms across China as well as marketing the event in the West as well — at the same time?

Provided it was acceptable with the Chinese authorities and done in the correct spirit and ethics.

The result could be an amazing sporting event for boxing and for China, and, will help China further as a nation with their tourism and investments into the country as we;;.

it is a win-win for boxing and the East while not leaving out the West either.

Yes, there’s been some boxing events done in China in recent years but not proper big events with world title big name fighters.

Nor involving the big name players in media in China and their platforms as well.

You could be talking about half a billion new fans of boxing if it goes well in China, which, it will.

Many of whom English-speakers as well — possibly 100 million new English speaking fans out of that.

You can show the Chinese government no problem the success of events already had just across the way in Japan over the last two years or so in terms of sell out arenas in Japan in a similar market in Asia for any feasibility study concerns from the authorities.

What you could do, then, to sweeten the deal is bring over a big star like Canelo Alvarez on the card as well.

Obviously everyone loves Mike Tyson in Asia — bring him over a special guest commentator on the China card.

You could do two major events in China per year.

One in Beijing and one in Shanghai would possibly make most sense.

This is not long shot, crazy scientist experiment trial run testing-type-thinking here, there is recent success models in Japan (many of them) as proof to go into business right away in China.

Boxing is hitting the power button with this level of big-but-accurate-precise-expansive-thinking.

Limitless boxing.

There’s much more than that, the above is nothing, there’s much more, as well.

See what we mean about making boxing great again?

It is what must be done.

Soon it will be time for the triumphant return to the great nation of China for boxing.

Bigger and better than ever.
