What Next For Keith Thurman

What Next For Keith Thurman

The welterweight division is buzzing and is alive and well more than it has been in years at 147 pounds.

For so many reasons, old and new as well.

New stars such as Conor Benn of the UK and Ryan Garcia of America look to compete there, Devin Haney just won the WBO welterweight title at the division and there’s loads happening with Garcia challenging Mario Barrios for the WBC title and more.

Welterweight has always been a good division but it looks like Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao may rematch as well later in 2026 at some point, although not confirmed.

What Next For Keith Thurman

That may do that at welterweight or super welterweight or somewhere in between in a catchweight — time will tell.

No one is talking much though about the successful knockout comeback this year of Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman who had a big stoppage win over
Brock Jarvis in Australia.

Thurman, a former champion at the weight class, is an unexpected horse in the mix as well that people cannot fully discount.

We’d like to see him in a big fight next up.

Floridan ‘One Time’ can roll the dice one more time in a title fight potentially at some point soon.

Here was Thurman’s reaction to the recent Canelo vs Crawford super fight.
