Artur Beterbiev is one of the main fighters at the light-heavyweight division and he was watching Benavidez’ fight against Anthony Yarde.
Benavidez stopped Yarde inside the distance at the weekend just gone in round 7.
He may now in the future be a possible opponent for Beterbiev, or the division unified champion, Dmitry Bivol.

For now though, Beterbiev was neither impressed nor concerned with anything he saw.
This going under the radar a short time ago on the X platform, where Beterbiev said:
“All you ask me about Benavidez-Yarde. I saw it. Nothing new for me. We two could have something better, isn’t it?”
Benavidez in many ways is a very one dimensional fighter.
He gets hit way too much.
He’s just very relentless basically but in terms of boxing ability, limited compared to some of the champions at light-heavyweight and cruiserweight.
He had a solid win at the weekend we thought but Beterbiev not impressed with him at all clearly.
