Lopez has positioned himself as a real pioneer among active US young boxing stars with his link up with the likes of large streamers to start small events across the country which although for now are small, are proving very successful.

If you look at the big name active US boxers now there’s the likes of Gervonta Davis, Terence Crawford, Ryan Garcia, Shakur Stevenson and you could add Lopez in there too for star power.
He and others see the constant growth in online influencers on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, Twitch, YouTube and elsewhere and while many are looking at Lopez to be in a big fight again soon, which he should be with Stevenson, he is proving to be one of the up and coming promoters now in the sport.
He is taking a leaf out of Jake Paul’s promotional book and continues to prove himself as a good promoter already, while just starting out in the space.
It goes to show Jake Paul and others have actually inspired real legit world championship caliber boxers to get into promotion in the same way that Jake Paul did.
Boxing legends past and present can tap into these new middle and large tech platforms as well.
As for Lopez, he is still an active fighter and is expected to take on Shakur Stevenson in January 2026 but await official confirmation on that.
Lopez is a heck of a fighter.
