US boxing star Ryan Garcia provided a brief technical analysis of Terence Crawford’s clinic he put on against Canelo Alvarez to shake up the world.
It was on of the greatest boxing displays of certainly the last 30 years or so that the sport and world had ever seen.
Going into the fight behind the scenes some in boxing suggested Crawford would win on points but the sportsbooks had Crawford a big underdog in reality.
He was moving up all the way to super middleweight against a future all time great.

Garcia said on the X platform afterwards:
“Now speaking from a technical aspect what I noticed was that the catch and counter was key for Crawford. Canelo would load up on his single power shots and then Crawford would just catch it and shoot. And then used the ring when it was time and stood his ground when it was time. Very smooth man very nice”
He added also:
“I actually believe Crawford may be the best fighter of all time.”
He also said on Canelo:
“Canelo will forever be an inspiration to not only me but so many other people. I love you man you are a legend in Victory and defeat”
Canelo Alvarez can hold his head high and fight on if he so wants to in boxing.
That is up to him.
Alvarez is a man who chased and achieved greatness many times, even stepping up in weight himself not long ago to challenge Dmitry Bivol.
Alvarez has done more for Mexico and boxing as a sport in the last twenty years than most.
Canelo Alvarez after Floyd Mayweather became the biggest name and pay per view star worldwide in the entire sport for many years.
But now is Terence Crawford’s time.
