In very sad news today former two-weight world champion Ricky Hatton has lost his life here on Earth and was confirmed dead in Manchester.
The cause of death is not known but it is not being treated as suspicious.
Hatton’s loved ones will need privacy at this terrible time.
Ricky Hatton was not just a hero of boxing, the UK, but he actually was much, much more than that.
Roy Keane Reacts To The Death Of Ricky Hatton
So much so even the former Irish soccer player Roy Keane speaking on Sky Sports in Europe earlier said:
“He certainly did. Again the guy was a warrior. I think that’s the reasons loved watching him in that ring. We know how tough that sport is but my God, he gave everything for that sport. I think that’s why the fans loved following him.”
Pacquiao also had some words on his old opponent Hatton here.
Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton will of course be badly missed but he will not be forgotten.
