Pound for pound rated new American boxing star Shakur Stevenson is not happy with some of the boxing media in 2025.
And he isn’t shy about saying it either.
Stevenson has been on a mad run of impressive wins in the sport, not least his last fight that showed he was more than a defensive genius.
That he could dig down deep and fight toe to toe when needed at times.
Shakur Stevenson Blasts Some Boxing Media
Speaking on X Stevenson said of some boxing media however mentioning the boxing media is terrible at times and if some of them have an issue with a boxer some talk down on the fighter.
He also went on to point out that people cover things with their feelings and not their passion.
He is right on some of the newer media in the sport.
Call things as you see them of course.
Be independent but always there must be balance and impartial.
As regards Stevenson, he is in talks to take on Teofimo Lopez next up.
