David ‘The Monster’ Benavidez is now a light-heavyweight world champion and returns to action shortly to defend his belt next up.
He has been cutting through and cutting down anything and anyone that has gotten his way in boxing for some years now.
Bit by bit, he has dispatched of all comers who have come his way and stayed unbeaten.
He’s 30-0 and takes on Anthony Yarde of the UK next up.
David Benavidez Sr On What They Are Expecting From Anthony Yarde
Speaking to YM Sports Media, Benavidez’ father and trainer David Benavidez senior said they expect Yarde to come at them:
“Anthony Yarde isn’t a guy who’s going to try to box on the outside or win on points. He’s going to come straight at you, son.”
Benavidez beat David Morrell last time out via UD on points.
He has 24 knockouts from this 30 fights undefeated so far in his career does ‘The Monster’.
Benavidez takes on Anthony Yarde next up on November 22nd and is already in heavy early training.
