Warrior and American boxing star Ryan Garcia is coming off an up and down year so far but appears to be in a good place mentally at the moment.
We don’t know if he’s in a great place, certainly his last opponent Rolly Romero who is now world champion is.
But he’s certainly in a good mind frame and mental space at the moment.
So much so this sober post a short time ago on X says a lot:
“I’m the only one making boxing fun today.”
Boxing never ceases to surprise you over the years. Whether it is the fighters, companies, promoters, managers, coaches, their teams.
It produces real characters, of which real and true believer of Jesus Christ, Ryan Garcia is.
Ryan Garcia Makes Unique Claim On What He’s Done For Boxing
Of course because he is a character doesn’t always means he has great character all the time.
More often and not he does though.
After his mother having cancer earlier this year then coming off a year out of the sport and everything else, to go straight back in at world title level recently was commendable.
He lost on points by UD to Rolly Romero but is a warrior and will be back.
Garcia must remember not to deal with anyone who tried to kick him while he was down when he returns to the top.
Stick with only genuine, real people and winners and not fake friends or fake advisors.
Don’t let fake kindness of fake friendship attempts deceive you, Garcia. Guard up always. Until the end.
