Amir Khan the former world champion from the UK is best known for not only winning the world title but going up in weight through the years as well.
One thing you can always say about Khan is he always chased greatness all the time.
He pursued the Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fights for some time and even stepped up to take on Canelo Alvarez at middleweight.
Having some success and beating Alvarez in some early rounds until Alvarez connected and ended the fight.
So he knows all about Canelo, and all about Terence Crawford stepping up in weight to fight him next month.
Amir Khan On Canelo v Crawford
Khan said earlier on the fight:
Crawford has been increasing his strength and punching power in training in recent months in training.
Alvarez remains a bigger fighter and Crawford is moving up all the way to super-middleweight for this fight on September 13th.
It has never been attempted really by a welterweight champion ever to go that far up in weight.
Ray Robinson went as far as middleweight. Mayweather as far as junior middleweight.
Also Crawford comes originally from lightweight, so to start as a lightweight world champion and to attempt to win a world title at super middleweight, against an all time great in Canelo Alvarez, is unheard of.
All the big guns in boxing are back for Crawford vs Canelo on September 13th.
