Shakur Stevenson looks like he will fight Teofimo Lopez next, but the Lamont Roach fight remains a possible one.
With No Shakur Stevenson vs Lamont Roach Fight Happening Yet, Mayweather Protege Lashes Out At Lamont Roach
Floyd Mayweather protege Curmel Moton blasted Roach on X saying:
“Big fish? The rematch ain’t happening move on, I’m a bigger name then you in boxing the fight will do numbers and I’m chasing greatness ain’t nothing stopping it from happening but you? (duck emoji)”
Lamont Roach said to Moton on X:
“Respect young bull but you know it ain’t happening. Got big fish to fry but when you get up to the top I’ll still be here”
Moton is only 19 and is a prospect but he and Floyd Mayweather, his promoter, obviously think he is more than ready for a big fight now.
Of which he is.
It is a great fight as well if it happens.
