Dmitry Bivol talked after his rematch win over Artur Beterbiev in Saudi Arabia about what might be next up.
Following a majority points win decision tonight.
Speaking after the fight Bivol remained open to what’s next:
“I think December would be amazing, you know (for Beterbiev 3)? Maybe earlier—maybe October, why not? Do I have a preference—David (Benavidez) or trilogy? I don’t have any preference right now, to be honest. Whatever people want to see, I’ll take, no problem. Maybe we could talk about cruiserweight—I’ll think about that too. Why not? I have belts here; I might check out cruiserweight. Why not?”
The win tonight saw Bivol avenge the only loss of his pro boxing career.
And in doing so, becoming undisputed light-heavyweight champion at the same time.
