Pacquiao Training with his son: Could that help motivate Pacman one more time before retirement

Let’s look at whether the Manny Pacquiao training camp alongside his son Jimuel provides the emotional and motivational spark needed for one final championship run.

Pacman is still mulling his next fight and options, talks of a Shakur Stevenson bout have come about in recent times.

After the Floyd rematch did not happen this year for different reasons.

The Stevenson fight is a tough style match up for the advanced in age Pacman at this point.

But if he trains alongside his son and a solid coaching team, he can get that inspiration maybe needed to have one run at a big fight.

Or a possible title fight before retirement, at least he might try to.

Some notes on this;

  • Jimuel joined his father’s training camp ahead of the July 2025 comeback against Barrios
  • The father-son duo have previously trained together at Pan Pacific Park in Los Angeles
  • Manny corrected Jimuel’s movements and demonstrated his legendary speed drills in some coaching at different points
  • Fans noticed Jimuel’s leg development, a key trait of Manny’s fighting style
  • Training with family may provide emotional motivation professional obligations cannot replicate
  • Jimuel is anaspiring boxer with a 6-4 amateur record

Training alongside his son could keep him young and keep him hungry and motivated at the highest level.

Something for him to consider.

A Liam Paro fight for Pacman had been mentioned but that has not happened, a lot of fights can be made for the Filipino eight-division champion immediately.

If he is interested.

Even a Ryan Garcia vs Manny Pacquiao fight could be possible.
