Jared Anderson has devastating power, but his knockout punch won’t save him at the top.
He already had a crushing knockout defeat to Martin Bakole back in 2024.
He had a not really big fight last year after that and he had been victorious last year but has not boxed since.

- He struggled against limited Marios Kollias last year in victory even, showing his power wasn’t decisive in his attempted comeback from the Bakole fight .
- His defensive flaw–pulling straight back–leaves him exposed when his power doesn’t land first .
- He needs to work behind a consistent jab to set up his power safely .
- His punches are fast but he lacks the physical size to bully bigger heavyweights .
- The margin for error is gone; he must refine power through technique, not just athleticism .
- At 26, his power is still raw—he needs technical polish to make it count at world level .
He is still only 26 at the end of the day, very young in the heavies.
He is six feet four inches tall, not the biggest heavy so he needs to definitely shoot for a better technical boxing game.
He still remains a US heavy prospect in the sport and if he can apply some of the above, he can still be in entertaining fights in the division.
The man from Toledo, Ohio, had apparently some torn biceps early this year in May.
Allegedly that had forced Jared Anderson out of action for the moment but he can come back in due course.
