Edgar Berlanga of Ne York had a great victory in Sunday night boxing on Paramount Plus and is line for interesting fights next.
He displayed heart to get up off the canvas to come back and defeat Steven Butler in round 7 in their 168 pounds bout.
An entertaining bout that puts him in line for exciting fights next up in the division.

- Caleb Plant – Long-talked-about U.S. grudge match (if Plant un-retires).
- Jermall Charlo – Name he’s called out, but inactivity is an issue.

- Canelo Alvarez (Rematch) – Huge money fight, but unlikely soon.

Bottom line: Berlanga is aiming for title shots and big paydays.
But some critics say his uneven performance against Butler means he may need one more strong win before landing a true elite opponent.

Butler proved to be a fight he should have defeated Butler in easier. The fact he got knocked down in is shocking.
