The Jake Paul Canelo $200 million offer that Paul supposedly can get for Alvarez is completely cobblers, rubbish and garbage. Learn more.
Jake Paul’s boxing matches did big numbers for two reasons.
His big audience and formerly a lot of influence, although that is done since he was knocked out by Anthony Joshua.
And the fact he’s been viciously knocked out now — the Jake Paul novelty has worn off in boxing now.
People were tuning into see him get knocked out and they finally did before Christmas against Anthony Joshua.
For him to say to Canelo he can get Alvarez $200 million is absurd, here’s why:
- Paul just got KO’d by Joshua in Dec 2025 and his draw tanked.
- $200M is only Paul’s claim, not Canelo’s confirmed ask.
- That $200M would be for Canelo alone — Paul would need $70M-$100M more.
- Canelo already makes $80M-$150M per fight without Paul.
- Paul’s PPVs peaked at 1.2M-1.6M buys, nowhere near $300M+ purse territory.
- His last “big” fight was free on Netflix, not PPV, and viewership dropped vs Tyson.
- He’s 0-2 vs real boxers and medically suspended after the KO.
- Canelo’s booked vs Mbilli and under a $400M Riyadh deal — doesn’t need Paul.
- $300M+ in purses needs 3M+ PPV buys at $100; Paul can’t do those numbers.
- The math doesn’t stake up — it’s hype, not a real agreement.
Jake Paul also said recently his health is possibly stopping him from boxing again based on doctor’s orders not long ago.
We don’t think there is the demand anymore for Jake Paul in high level pro boxing.
A Canelo $200 million dollar offer looks to be way off.
