Pacman and Netflix Can Move On Without Mayweather If He Backs Out Of Rematch

Pacman and Netflix

Things have gone very silent recently over the proposed rematch in September.

It was recently announced even by Netflix for the Sphere in Las Vegas on their official website and social media channels but an interview with Maywather put a spanner in the works.

Whereby he said it would only be an exhibition but then team Pacman said they signed for a real fight and proper rematch.

Netflix are a big company and boxing continues to do well as a sport, on its way back to the masses this year, so there isn’t a shortage of opponents for Pacman.

He fought Mario Barrios to a draw last year in a world title fight and is still considered a high level welterweight contender in the division.

He’s a big name as well worldwide and in the US so there will be a number of opponents that would be willing to step in there with him one to fight a legend, and two for the associated pay day he brings with his fights.

Netflix know this and could easily get someone else if Mayweather backs out.

Who knows what will happen Mayweather or Pacman this year but there will be options for Netflix to put on another fight.

Or another stand in opponent and so on, it is all the way in September as well, but they would want to get a move on.

The supposed Mike Tyson vs Floyd Mayweather exhibition this month in Africa still doesn’t even have an official press conference or such yet done for both boxers either.

Floyd Mayweather is a mess.

Netflix and boxing are not.

That’s the difference.
