Mayweather Ends 9 Year Retirement For Pacquiao Rematch

So many big events and fights in boxing in April and May but there’s more all 2026 long.

The big Mayweather vs Pacman 2 rematch takes place live in Netflix this September in Las Vegas.

In an event that might bring down the Netflix servers and break records for the company worldwide for number of streams and number of signups for the company.

They see the power of the sport of boxing worldwide now and Mayweather ending a nine year hiatus from the sweeet science is a big statement of intent.

Contrary to some inaccurate and false reports, he doesn’t need the money in his comeback in boxing.

But to his advantage, that false story line works well in his favor as simply another factor as to why many will tune in on September for the big Pacman rematch.

Mayweather’s effortless ability to easily beat and batter the world’s best fighters over the years has attracted a tiny number of jealous haters in America who he continues to silence with early training footage.

He hasn’t missed a step in some of it and although very early, he knows he can turn on his boxing ability at any time he wants and chooses.

Pacman will be aware of this and you get the sense he is preparing for an even better version of Mayweather than he fought nine years ago.

As difficult as that is to believe, at 49-years-old, given the rest and break from boxing and given the fact that Mayweather never bothered to turn on the best boxing and fighting he had the whole time in his arsenal over all those years, he might show a little bit of it for the first time ever this September.

That will shock not only America, sports and professional boxing but the entire planet.

If Mayweather even turns on some of that actual real ability in his fighting he really has, that he has never shown boxing or the world yet, that would be something very brilliant in professional sports history.

We get the sense he might for the first time ever in his life show a little bit of that next September.

A little bit of that elite fighting ability that only the likes of Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson have ever produced in a professional boxing ring in history.

Stay tuned.

On the Pacman side – the Pacquiao training footage for Mayweather rematch is impressive to say the least.

Roll on the build up in the weeks and months ahead.
