49-Year-Old Mayweather Comeback Training Shows Promise

Floyd Mayweather is 49 years old but you wouldn’t have known.

Not from his training footage in recent days back at the Mayweather boxing club alongside Roger Mayweather’s son.

The two already clearly have a strong understanding clearly on the pads which will get much sharper in the days and weeks ahead of the Mike Tyson exhibition in Africa in April.

That in itself is a huge event for boxing even though it is an exhibition and gives Mayweather and Roger Mayweather’s son more time
to work on technical stuff that they might use later in the year.

When they take on Filipino legend Pacman next September in Mayweather’s 51st professional boxing match.

Early doors he’s still as sharp as ever, shooting the jab with snap and some good combinations.

But that will all get better as the days and weeks go on and he is always staying ready anyway and you can tell he is more like a 29 year old professional boxer.

Not a 49 year old one.

His legs are older though and he knows that but it isn’t something he will be concerned about, Mayweather is a crafty veteran and will have a whole range ways to offset these easily.

He will have hundreds of ways to offset this and box his type of fight against Pacman in the rematch.

Happy birthday this week to one of the best boxers that ever lived, Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather will need to be mindful of these punches against Pacman later this year.
