Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia 2 just got bigger.
Not long after Ryan Garcia outpointed Mario Barrios by UD his old rival Devin Haney was on his case right away.
Saying on the X platform he thought Garcia was ‘off that good juice.’
Implying that previously, according to Haney, that allegedly Garcia may have been on steroids or performance enhancing drugs before that.
Haney wasted little time in getting after him on social media and now both boxers are back in the winners circle.
Haney also has a world title at the moment at welterweight and both now fight at welterweight.
Both in fact have world titles (for now) at the 147lbs. limit.
Shakur Stevenson remains higher than both pound for pound now and is on a different level but he has said welterweight is not
where he will stick around after his most recent win.
The fight that makes the most sense therefor has
Gervonta Davis remains in no man’s land after getting a get out of jail card recently. He knocked Garcia out cold previously some
years ago now but Davis since is coming off a controversial draw with Lamont Roach in his last bout in 2025.
Teofimo Lopez is also moving up to welterweight next up, that could be an option for either as well but the rematch still does the most numbers out of any of those fights.
