There is much happening in worldwide and international boxing at the moment but of course the United States is still where many big fights can and will happen.
Yes the East is now seeing a big takeover not only in boxing and sport from some wealth from the West. In a slight rebalance of global power and wealth now shifting maybe one or two percent from the West to the East.
That is many tens of trillions of dollars though, maybe closer to a hundred trillion. Remember the US secured a new twenty trillion bucks investment into the country in just 2025 and that is while the dollar is still trading powerful against the pound and euro for now.
That won’t last though and that will be worth even more when the US dollar comes back big soon.
This all means big things for boxing and big fights will of course be happening in the US as mentioned and the reason why is a multitude of attractions to the country still.
Even in the dark times in some place for the country boxing remains a sport that the US have produced more world champions in professional boxing history in.
That fact will never change.
As more big fights, gyms and boxers go to the East for big fights and events the US still has some big historical legendary places like New York and Las Vegas and other big impressive stadiums where boxing can be held.
This tradition and history at places like Madison Square Garden and other places is worth a lot in itself and still some big fights can happen there.
But the East will see more stuff that ever though and yes this will take some big boxing events and things away from America. Make no mistake about that. That has already happened last year and will only happen more this year.
But some big fights will still happen every now and then in the US and UK occasionally and even Usyk the heavyweight champion is looking at doing a big title fight with former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in America later this year.
All these factors internationally has maybe made Americans a little jealous that so many great things in boxing and in civilization are happening in the East now.
That green eyed monster has maybe awoken more interest in the sport in the US due to seeing it do so well and so many fights happening all around the world outside the US now.
The quality of fights is excellent lately. This is the main factor for the sport’s return to prominence in the United States.
Matchmaking of better fights with better boxers competing against one another all the time is key.
This will not be stopped. Nothing or no one on Earth or anywhere else will stop this.
The same with the East’s rise and expansion in boxing and beyond that too this year. The US is seeing boxing as a hot sport again basically and that’s why it is returned to the big time now.
Influencer boxing, the UFC now promoting boxing, more MMA fighters switching to professional boxing and many new things like that has also brought many new fans from the young generation to the sport now.
Finally, the sheer amount of new big companies and streaming platforms showing boxing again in the US whether Netflix, DAZN, Meta, the UFC now even, Amazon Prime video, ESPN Fight Nights and many more is outstanding.
There will only be more over time.
This will not be stopped.
Boxing is everywhere and is only going to be more aggressive and expand more as a sport this year.
America is no different.
It will have success there too as well in the East of course.
