Ryan Garcia is in the lab ahead of his world title fight with Mario Barrios but doesn’t look his usual self for us.
He seems a bit slower. A bit heavier.
More than anything his timing doesn’t seem to be down yet, which, is normal of course with the fight still a month away, at the same time.
Ahead of his big February 21st world title challenge see what you think so far:
It isn’t that bad but then again it isn’t his usual blistering fast self either — not overly impressive.
His balance is not quite on point either yet.
Mario Barrios will be up to the mark however and training ferociously at the moment to hang on to that WBC welterweight crown.
We think Barrios might have a little edge at the moment.
Tough to call though.
