Will Garcia rebound from his Romero loss?

Garcia was coming into the fight off the back of a long ban in boxing and outside the ring lately it appears that he has been drinking a bit in excess here and there ahead of his comeback this year.

This is not good for any professional athlete — not least one getting ready to step in there with a competitor up to the mark in his next professional endeavor.

He takes on Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title on February 21st next up and Barrios comes into the fight in a great run of form in recent years.

Outside of his last fight with Manny Pacquiao last time where he drew last year and he will want to put that right in a big fight and win next time this year.

That makes it a challenge for Garcia to rebound from his loss to Romero last year and it is up to Garcia to focus and show he wants it more in the fight than Barrios.

Barrios is up to the mark however and will not be deterred by Garcia’s big name in the sport, he will look to flatten him and bust him as usual.

Ryan Garcia appears to be more focused on beating up streamers lately, let’s see how he does this year.
