Where Does Oleksandr Usyk Sit In P4P Rankings

Where does Oleksandr Usyk sit in P4P rankings in the sport of boxing at the moment? We think very highly.

Amazingly some people continue to discredit Usyk but they are very few and far in between, he is the number one heavyweight in the world quite clearly now and has been for some time.

He has remained undefeated and cleared out the entire division literally since moving up from becoming undisputed cruiserweight champion to undisputed heavyweight champion.

He has beaten all of the UK’s best heavyweights and multiple times in some cases when it comes to the likes of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and others.

Where does Oleksandr Usyk sit in P4P rankings

He is still not in his prime yet and he is close to 40 and the hard evidence of this was shown again only last year when he not only battered Daniel Dubois but knocked him out.

Dubois had only come off knocking out Anthony Joshua viciously as well.

For us, he is the number one fighter in the world pound for pound in the Boxing News and Views P4P rankings.

Terence Crawford retired and thus last his top spot there and the only one close to Usyk for us at the moment is Japan’s Naoya Inoue.

If Inoue were to impressively somehow knockout rival Junto Nakatani next up however in May, and Usyk were to lose or not look impressive against Deontay Wilder in his next bout, that can all change however.

That’s the great thing about these times in professional boxing at the moment, everything is changing right now in boxing and they will too.

Because the big fights are happening more regularly than ever.

Here is where Usyk currently sits in the Boxing News and Views top 10 P4P list.
