Will more MMA stars box?

Will More Mma Stars Box

Will more MMA stars box in the sport of professional boxing in 2026? We think absolutely they will. Here’s why.

Only next week the UFC under the Zuffa Boxing and TKO banners will do their first professional boxing event on streaming mammoth Paramount Plus.

The UFC is obviously the world’s biggest MMA promotion and brand and they can absolutely use MMA fighters in their boxing shows if they choose to.

But there’s much more.

Not long ago, last year in fact, a whole host of big names formerly from MMA (mixed martial arts) continued to impress in professional boxing.

Darren Till and Anderson Silva impressed in boxing again in 2025 to name but a few here.

Will more MMA stars box

Many other names like Tony Ferguson, Luke Rockhold and many others on Misfits shows continued to boxing and more and more MMA (mixed martial arts) stars formerly from the UFC and other promotions continue to make the move to professional boxing.

The sport of boxing is booming and will only go to even further successful levels this year and so it would only make sense for more MMA fighters to see this trend and make the move.

That trend is going nowhere, Paramount has confirmed many billions in their Paramount Plus streaming deal for the UFC and Zuffa Boxing which is already been used in boxing.

Zuffa Boxing have began their signing spree already and there will be no let up.

This will bring more and more UFC and MMA fans to boxing naturally at the same time, as well.
